This establishment seamlessly transitions from a popular restaurant and lounge to a lively nightclub on weekend evenings. Following a night out exploring LA Live and Chinatown, my companions and I arrived at the venue during the late hours, finding the front bar nearly empty, providing us with an opportunity to enjoy some drinks. Immersed in a captivating New Orleans theme, the ambiance exuded a vintage charm, enhancing the overall experience. Upon completing our beverages, we ventured towards the back of the establishment, encountering a bustling scene of youthful revelers dancing fervently. The atmosphere mirrored the vibrant street parties of New Orleans, albeit with a more contemporary flair. While tempted to join in the festivities, the crowded and noisy environment prompted us to retreat to the front of the venue to extend our time together. Although the nightclub setting may not have been entirely to my preference, the allure of returning for delectable southern cuisine and relaxed lounge atmosphere remains undeniable.

One of the best brunch spot I've been to !! Walked in on a Sunday morning with two others. It was not as crowded as we had anticipated, so no complaints about the wait time. FYI, if you dine on a Sunday morning, the street is blocked off due to the farmer's market. So you wont be able to drive onto the street. This place is decorated very cute. There's a fountain in the middle of the room and some umbrellas around. There's also a mini stage up front. As we were seated, our waiter told us there was a burlesque show that was going to take place. We were so excited because there was a show ! Lol. Okay, let's get to the food ! They have bottomless mimosas for $25 a person as long as you order food. Food is charged separately from bottomless mimosas. The menu for brunch is limited. They served chicken and waffles, omelets, breakfast burrito, chilaquiles, and a couple more. I went for the chicken and waffles, while the other two in my party went for the chilaquiles and the breakfast burrito. Food didnt take too long. Since we were brunching, why not go for bottomless mimosas! For the price of $25 it was a deal and youll make your monies worth. Our meal took roughly 20 minutes? Chicken & waffles: MUST ORDER !! The chicken was juicy, tender, and crispy on the outside and flavorful. The waffles were also good. Nice crisp edges. On the side, they serve buttermilk and of course, the syrup! I've never had chicken and waffles served with buttermilk. Must I say, the syrup and buttermilk made the entree SOOOOO good !! It was the perfect combo. So go for it OKAY?! Haha. Chilaquiles: This entree looked so sad. It looked like it was sitting out for days because the chips were soggy. Haha ! The taste was there, like how it should taste. Salsa-y and yeah... We asked our waiter to bring non soggy chips to better enjoy the dish. Breakfast burrito: I didnt try this, but was told this was so good. However, I did try the potatoes. Fried to a crisp mmmm. Beignets: They could be better. Though they look fluffy and delicious, it was okay.. They served it with chocolate sauce. Too bad it didnt make it any better, but I still ate it. Haha. You can skip on the beignets from here. Bottomless mimosas: OKAY !!! So we got our monies worth because in order for us to get our waiter's attention, we literally had to chug. LOL. As crazy as it sounds, it was true !!! He was more focused on refilling our glass than coming by to check on us, if we needed anything else. Burlesque show: It was fun !! A total of 3 performers came out, including the host, Tito Bonito !!! They did their thang and pretty much gave everyone a great time. By the time the show started, the crowd grew a bit. Definitely NOT A KID FRIENDLY place. So keep your kids at home. I'd love to come by at night as I'm sure itll be a lot more lively !!

Such a popular restaurant and lounge that turns into a little nightclub on weekend nights. We came in after a night out in LA Live and Chinatown. It was pretty late when we got here but the front bar was almost empty so we had some drinks at the bar. The entire place is New Orleans themed so everything looked vintage and super cute. After finishing our drinks we went to the back of the restaurant which was completely a different scene. It was packed with dancing ppl that looked very young to me. I imagine the street parties in New Orleans must look like this. I'd dance a little but it was too crowded and loud so we went back to the front to hang out a bit longer. The nightclub scene was not exactly my thing but we'd definitely come back for southern food and lounge times again!
